i know i promised that i would take my time but once i start something i am just so eager to finish it. this took me approximately 30 min to draw and 3 hours to color. over all i am happy with the outcome; however, i do think that the reflection in the water could have been better. but for my first time i think i did a good job. :w00t:

I love your water reflection series.
Do you use prismacolor pencils? They are the best.

Yes, I definitely use Prisma, and nothing else. Have you ever tried them with mineral spirits. It's great, you lay your pigment down with your pencils (however many colors), then you take a brush and dip it in MS, wipe it off on a cleenex (because you only need fumes) then go over the pigment with your brush, and it melts right in front of your eyes, and blends beautifully. I've had people ask me, "is that air brushed?", and they can't believe it's color pencils, because it's so smooth. Try it you'll love it.

You use your prisma color pencils in the same way you do normally. The only difference is that you go over your drawing with a brush (containing a whisper of mineral spirits) to blend your prisma color pigment. I hope I was more understandable this time. Experiment with the mineral spirits, and you will see for yourself what you can do with it.

My pleasure. Just go to any art store and they will know what mineral spirits are.
